Logic Downwards Live @ McGovern’s NYC

One of our nights at McGovern's on the Lower East Side, late 80s. Five of us crammed onto a tiny stage — Bruce wailing through stories of lost souls and broken lives, Scott cascading beats he taught himself, Duane's melodic keys cutting through the noise, Brian holding the low end down, and me assaulting strings till they snapped. We were a punk band that didn't sound like a punk band — atonal riffs stitched to 3-chord anthems, quiet dirges crashing into walls of feedback. McGovern's was one of the few rooms that let us be exactly that.
