When the sun comes up It’s rising to your fall If you could see through my eyes you’d know It’s not the way to go I’ve seen the colored lights And through the smoke there’s a feeling and it’s cold All the time Please don’t go
Some people shoot all the stars from the sky They’re killing dreams and I don’t know why I just don’t understand If you could only realize If you could only see through these eyes you’d know It’s the only way to go
And you may shoot those stars to the ground But there’s no way to hold them down It’s what you feel inside Many have told me it’s all in the past And some have said that it won’t last But I know cause I’ve seen them on the stage
And some have warned that my world will crack The skies are red and the sun is black But it’s only cause they’ve got nowhere to go
