lyrics
Spirit of Life
January 1, 1986
We are all reliving the dream
Close the door on the past
Smile on my face and a song in my heart Set yourself free With the spirit of life
The world wants to tie and bind you Break it’s chains and tear down its walls
This lifetime we are going to make it Get that golden ring on the merry go round Keep listening—the song in your heart Will tell you who you really are
Then with simply trust and happy confidence Go forth and fulfill yourselves, each other And the spirit of life itself
