Isis - Box 5

Isis - Box 5

Isis was one of the most powerful and revered goddesses in ancient Egyptian mythology, celebrated as the ideal mother, wife, and protector. Renowned for her supreme magical abilities and healing powers, she played a central role in Egypt's most famous myth by resurrecting her murdered husband, Osiris, and fiercely protecting their son, Horus, until he could rightfully claim the throne. As a guardian of both the living and the dead, her worship grew so immensely popular that it eventually spread beyond Egypt throughout the entire Roman Empire.

Box gifted to my step-mother Donna whom embodies many of these same traits.

Isis is also the name of a Bob Dylan song off of the classic Desire record, that Donna and I listened to relentlessly when I was growing up.
